A leading provider of comprehensive genetic data analyses and interpretations is presently looking to appoint a proven sales leader to drive sales, market share and brand recognition across the United States.

An employee-owned company providing fast and accurate interpretation services and mining of NGS data using proprietary tools developed in-house, our client’s scientific and technical teams are comprised of ABMGG certified geneticists, clinicians, PhD genome scientists, bioinformatics, and IT experts.

The appointed VP Sales will be responsible for driving the sales of our client’s NGS data analysis and reporting software and solutions within the US medical community, to meet and exceed pre-defined KPI, revenue, margin, and growth objectives. 

This will be achieved through devising and implementing a proactive strategy of new business development and also ensuring the long-term development of profitable relationships with a healthy portfolio of existing customers.

Keeping abreast of developments in genetic data analysis – and working in liaison with in-house product development and R&D teams – the successful candidate will develop the secondary depth expertise required to deliver a solution-oriented sales approach that aims to reach a comprehensive understanding of client needs in order to propose tailored solutions and close for business.

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a proven track record of field sales success, with a minimum of three years specifically in the sales of NGS data analysis and reporting software, relevant educational qualifications (clinical medicine, genetics, genomics, molecular biology, or a business discipline), first class negotiation abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
