One of fastest growing companies in the field of medical imaging systems and veterinary diagnostics is presently seeking a home-based engineer to maintain equipment throughout Holland.
The Position:
The successful candidate will:
- Handle all complaints and any malfunction claims from customers (mainly distributors but sometimes end users such as hospitals and clinics)
- Provide efficient technical support to customers and sales/marketing colleagues
- Deliver on-site support to distributors for important projects (installation, complex equipment failure diagnosis and repair)
- Visit end users onsite to collect customer feedback and market information
- Repair and maintain main units returned from customers
- Deliver service training to customers (mainly distributors, sometimes end users)
- Negotiate with customers on service contracts, ordering and logistics
- Assist stock management administration for parts stock and equipment management
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- A minimum bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, biomedical engineering, biomedical science or related
- At least three years’ maintenance experience in medical electronic equipment (and its clinical application)
- Familiarity with the procurement processes of local medical organizations as well as on-line maintenance and repair processes
- An understanding of industry related charging standards
- (Ideally) technical support work experience
- A good command of both written and spoken English
- Skilled use of computers and office software
