The Senior Project Manager will estimate, plan and manage the installation and implementation of WiFi communication networks and integrated people counting solutions.
The Position:
Liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally, the successful candidate will:
- Ensure on-time project completion according to agreed specifications and within budgeted costs
- Identify resources needed and work with partner and client procurement teams to secure necessary hardware
- Identify and document project scope and objectives, planning and directing schedule and budget
- Use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
- Design cross-functional stakeholder communication plans to deliver regular updates to key business owners
- Regularly review progress and ensure that key milestones are being met
- Proactively identify potential issues and solve issues as they occur (risk management, contingency planning, presenting solutions to executive management)
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- A minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a customer-facing technical project management role within telecommunications, technical construction, wireless, electrical engineering, building services or security ITIL process
- The ability to read, understand and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, drawings and technical manuals
- Experience of managing budgets, project plans and resource allocations
- A track record of developing and delivering thoughtful, persuasive and error-free presentation documents
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Planner (or equivalent) and Visio
- Superb prioritization, decision-making and communication skills
- The ability to coordinate complex projects with demanding customers and short timelines
