Senior Principal Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior technical leader to join the water management solutions team of a leading international mining and metals company.

The Position:

The Senior Principal Engineer will advance sustainable water practices across our client’s mining operations, including:

• Reducing freshwater use through innovative reuse, recycling, and recovery strategies, while minimizing environmental impact
• Preparing and reviewing complex engineering deliverables, including process models, mass balances, and design documentation
• Serving as a subject matter expert on large-scale water treatment projects and operational troubleshooting
• Collaborating with site and project leaders to align engineering strategies with business goals 
• Advising on applied research and testing to inform process design

The Candidate:

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• At least ten years’ related engineering  experience including engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards
• Advanced knowledge of process design for treatment of various industrial quality waters, municipal water and wastewater, and sea water
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to a diversely educated audience
• Proficiency in MS Office including CoPilot and ability to manage complex projects. 
• Ability and willingness to travel national and internationally, averaging 5 weeks per quarter
