    A fluent English and German speaker with proven experience in the sales of organic foods or ingredients is required to increase our client’s market share and brand recognition across the DACH region.

    The Position:

    The appointed Sales Manager will assume responsibility for:

    • Supporting existing customers and developing new markets
    • Identifying new opportunities and converting prospects into top accounts
    • Contributing to business planning and budgeting/forecasting procedures
    • Developing clear proof-of-concepts for new projects and ensuring timely delivery of agreed milestones to successful completions
    • Accompanying internal production trials and supervising large-scale technical trials at customers’ sites
    • Acting as interface between other internal departments (QA, Production) in relation to costumer matters
    • Representing the company at fairs and events

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A minimum bachelor’s degree qualification in product or project management, food technology, biochemistry or similar
    • A minimum of four years’ sales or key account management in the infant nutrition or wider food & beverage industry
    • A track record of regular travel to client sites, conferences and trade events
    • A structured approach to prioritising objectives and activities
    • Assertiveness and good teamworking skills
    • Familiarity with food safety, organic certification and regulations (ideally)
    • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German
