An established developer of flavors and ingredients for a diverse range of products in the food, beverage, and e-commerce marketplaces, our client is currently on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead its growth strategy.

The Position:

This role comes with an exciting commission structure that generously rewards the acquisition and nurturing of enduring B2B relationships, with key responsibilities being to:

  • Utilize your industry contacts and networking skills to introduce the company’s expansive product line to potential B2B partners.
  • Engage with the product development team to understand our client’s offerings thoroughly and effectively represent them to clients.
  • Foster continuous business growth by securing new accounts, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and increasing account profitability.
  • Act as the primary contact between the company and your clients, providing unparalleled customer service and consultation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory guidelines to offer valuable insights and strategic advice to our team and clients.
  • Represent our client at industry events and conferences, showcasing products and establishing potential business connections.
  • Leverage your knowledge of the e-commerce market to bring flavors and ingredients to new products and brands.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably with a focus on flavors and ingredients.
  • Proven track record in business development, with a focus on acquiring and managing B2B accounts.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the food, beverage, and e-commerce industry, including regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and exceed sales targets.
  • An established network of industry contacts and relationships.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
