    A leading producer of quality sports nutrition and health & wellness products is gearing up for a significant product launch in 2020 with the endorsement of an international sports personality and is now looking to appoint a proven sales professional to drive market share and brand recognition across the UK.

    The Position:

    The appointed Sales Manager will be responsible for:

    • Promoting our client’s range of protein, energy, amino acids, weight loss and wellness products
    • Selling directly to retailers, gyms, pharmacies and health food stores across the UK, from independents to nationwide multiples
    • Delivering and executing a robust sales and marketing strategy to meet KPI, revenue and margin targets
    • Driving business development to acquire new retail customers and gyms
    • Building and cultivating strong, open and multi-functional relationships, both internally and externally
    • Developing and executing exceptional customer joint business plans
    • Working with technical teams to plan and execute NPD launches

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A strong network of contacts among retailers, gyms, pharmacies and health food stores
    • A minimum of three years’ sales, business development and account management experience within sports nutrition, nutraceuticals, health products or related branded FMCG
    • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with demonstrable experience of NPD and JBPs
    • First class negotiation skills, sound judgement and customer focus
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • A passion for sport, health and nutrition
    • A highly analytical approach to category insights and data manipulation
    • Proven ability and confidence to secure new business and partnerships
    • (Ideally) a university degree level of educational attainment
    • A track record of over-delivering on KPIs and sales objectives
