A leading manufacturer of cable concealment products is presently looking to appoint a proven Sales Director to increase market share and brand recognition across North America. 

The Position:

The appointed Sales Director will directly manage a remote Sales Manager and will hold responsibility for:

  • Designing and implementing a robust new business development strategy to meet growth targets
  • Ensuring repeat business objectives are met through diligent account management and relationship building.
  • Promoting the sales of cable trunking, boxing, tidy units, protectors and fasteners
  • Targeting DIY/hardware stores and electrical distributors

The successful candidate’s geographical remit will include all North America and Mexico.  This will involve frequent travel across this territory but will be predominantly based at our client’s headquarters in Kentucky.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of five years’ sales experience within electrical and/or consumer products
  • A strong personal network of contacts within the DIY/hardware retail and/or electrical wholesale sectors.
  • (Ideally) prior supervisory / leadership experience
  • Proven lead generation, presenting, objection handling, negotiation and closing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
