This is an exciting new opportunity to join an emerging leader in the development and distribution of cardiac devices for improving patient outcomes.

The Position:

Our client is seeking an experienced, motivated, dynamic, and results-driven sales leader to head up its sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding its customer base, with key responsibilities being to:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets for the cardiovascular devices business.
  • Manage and coach the sales team to ensure they achieve individual targets and deliver a high-quality customer service.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, hospitals, and distributors.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and ensure  products remain competitive.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Attend and represent the company at relevant conferences and events to promote products and services.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ sales experience in the medical devices industry
  • A deep understanding of the cardiovascular device market, including key players, trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on driving results and achieving targets.
  • Proven ability to analyse market trends and develop effective sales strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a relevant life sciences field. An MBA is preferred but not required.
