    Reporting to the Global Sales Manager, the successful applicant will be joining a successful business that prides itself on delivering high quality solutions with excellent customer service globally.

    The Position:

    Working closely with our client’s international partners, sales team and senior management, the appointed Regional Sales Manager will help drive and achieve business growth in line with company strategy.  The overall purpose of this role will be to identify waste companies across the North of England who are looking to invest in waste processing equipment and progress each project to a close.  This will principally involve:

    • Identifying the most relevant contacts within target customer businesses
    • Establishing the exact needs of the customer and gathering all relevant information to enable the accurate drawing of a plant layout
    • Discussing THE plant layout internally with the technical sales team prior to seeking approval on the layout and components with the customer before progressing the project to the pricing stage
    • Agreeing price with the costing team and presenting the proposal to the customer, responding to any questions they may have
    • Progressing the project to closing stage and negotiating a final price before closing the sale
    • Agreeing all commercial aspects of the project including payments and delivery schedules
    • Building long lasting and productive relationships with key contacts in the waste industry including prospects, customers, waste authorities and technology partners

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be required to demonstrate:

    • A minimum of three years’ capital equipment sales experience, ideally into waste companies
    • Excellent commercial know-how, negotiation and closing abilities
    • Strong communication skills and proven ability to build excellent working relationships
    • A dynamic and persuasive approach to selling the value and benefits of a premium level brand
    • An honest, dependable and supportive nature and a can-do, winning attitude
