One of the largest full-service intellectual property law firms in the US is presently seeking a proven patent attorney to work from one of its principal offices.  Working remotely will also be considered. 

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience as an attorney, with involvement in the preparation and prosecution of life science (biotechnology and pharmaceuticals) related patent applications as well as patentability, state-of-the-art, infringement, validity search and analyses, and opinion work. 

An advanced degree or equivalent experience in biochemistry, immunology, cell/molecular biology, biotechnology, and/or life sciences is required, with Ph.D. candidates strongly preferred.  Candidates must also be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and must be admitted to a state bar.
