M&A Associate

Mid-level M&A Associate required to join the Corporate & Securities group of our client’s Houston practise.

The Position:

The successful candidate will act as the lead associate on M&A transactions, managing all aspects of these transactions and drafting transaction agreements such as merger agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements and joint venture agreements (LLC and LP agreements).

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience, strong academic credentials, and significant experience in private or public mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and/or joint ventures at a nationally recognized law firm.  Candidates should be team players with strong interpersonal skills who are willing to take on substantial roles in project management and are comfortable with client interaction.
