One the world’s leading labor and employment law firms is presently looking to appoint a mid-level Labor Relations Associate.

Under the expert mentorship of senior partners, the successful candidate will assist clients in preventing employee claims and lawsuits, government investigations, and union organizing activity, performing compliance audits, providing the right policies, procedures, and training, and offering thoughtful advice and counsel.

Representing employers in labor and employment matters, our client is an established law firm comprising over 30 offices nationwide and more than 500 attorneys practicing before state and federal courts and administrative agencies in virtually every state.

Given that many labor and employment problems arise without much warning and require an immediate response, the successful candidate will be expected to meet deadlines and provide plenty of advance time where client review of documents is needed.

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven contract administration and enforcement experience, including grievance arbitrations.
  • Previous experience in defending against unfair Labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work affectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
