    The Head of Sales will be responsible for all inbound and outbound direct sales generation and the coordination of key commercial initiatives across the organisation.

    The Position:

    Based from our client’s Dorset headquarters but involving UK-wide and international travel, the appointed Head of Sales will be tasked with:

    • Achieving ambitious top-line targets in the value creation plan by driving organic growth across the UK, US and the rest of the world
    • Driving revenue growth through a team of account managers and business development managers, creating repeatable revenue from large blue-chip clients
    • Working with the CEO to develop and execute the strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base
    • Effectively reporting and forecasting all sales activity
    • Building and maintaining strong and long-lasting customer relationships globally, partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
    • Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals, presentations and pilots
    • Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends, being proactive in defining solutions to clients’ future digital kiosk requirements
    • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and the strategic direction of accounts

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • Proven sales leadership and team management skills: Hiring, onboarding and developing talent
    • A strong understanding of complex B2B and channel sales, ideally with experience in the sales of relevant products/solutions to international blue-chip customers
    • A demonstrable track record of creating value for shareholders in a business of similar scale or complexity
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, ideally across both direct and partnership/channel models in an international setting
    • The ability to think strategically about how to scale a go-to-market function internationally
    • Good experience with both sales and business development, but also around sales operations and business partnering with other areas of the business
    • The ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
    • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services, evidencing strong sector knowledge and key areas of differentiation
    • Excellent communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Strong strategic mind-set, with an ability to assess, prioritise and interpret business performance and determine clear-sighted business plans relevant to each area of the business
    • The ability to work independently and pro-actively, anticipating challenges and exploiting opportunities

    A pioneer in the development of interactive touch screens, our client’s self-service digital kiosks are used for a variety of applications from hotel check-in to fast food ordering on stylish iPads, tablets and computers in secure enclosures, on stands, locked table mounts or wall mounts.  The company supports clients in a wide range of industry sectors including hospitality, retail, leisure, automotive, casino, corporate and healthcare.
