A US-based provider of advanced memory products is looking to appoint a proven new business hunter to establish and spearhead its penetration of the European OEM and end user markets.

The Position:

Reporting to the VP of Worldwide Sales, the successful candidate will:

  • Design and implement a robust sales strategy for the European market to meet and exceed pre-defined KPI, revenue and margin objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for potential new business wins through detailed lead generation and market research.
  • Drive new business growth through in-person and virtual presentations, negotiation, technical advice, objection handling and closing for business.
  • Relay customer feedback to product development and marketing teams.
  • Represent the company at trade events and industry expos etc.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the sales of data storage / DRAM / flash / memory products.
  • A strong technical understanding of the applications of these products for OEMs and enterprise end users (e.g. data centers).
  • Proven new business (hunter) skillset and track record of closing large deals in Europe with Fortune 500 / conglomerate companies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one other European language
