To increase reach and presence in the Northeast of England, our client has created a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious new business developer to join its rapidly expanding team.

You will be interacting with both new and existing customers to help establish new selling opportunities and expand customer spend by adding-in additional consolidation categories. The successful candidate will also benefit from strong support from the company’s established internal sales team.

As the company develops further it will become truly unique in its approach, capabilities and the delivery model, with an exciting rebrand to take place later this year. 

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Strong levels of flexibility and autonomy to take full ownership of your territory and strategy
  • Experience in the use of CRM systems to maximise your sales with accurate data manipulation
  • First class new business (hunter) skillset to seek out new opportunities and build a strong pipeline of business
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and a hunger to exceed those targets
  • Experience in engaging with decision makers around the features & benefits of a product or service
  • The ability to have commercial conversations and build instant rapport
  • A strong eye for detail to ensure accurate and timely data capture
