Proven technical sales professional required to increase market share and brand recognition in the Northeast of the United States for a leading manufacturer of automation, circuit protection and switchgear products.

The Position:

The appointed Business Development Manager will execute the sales go-to-market strategy:  Identifying new business opportunities, building a sales pipeline and closing/winning new business to meet company targets. 

The role will focus on the promotion of our client’s relays, drives, circuit breakers, switchgear and connectors to end users and integrators in the automation, power generation, electrical engineering and agriculture industries.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of five years’ field sales experience within electrical control and automation products
  • A recognised qualification in electrical (or related) engineering
  • A network of contacts among end users and integrators in the automation, power generation, electrical engineering and/or agriculture industries
  • Proven new business development (hunter) skillset (lead generation, presenting, negotiation, closing)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
