Our client is seeking a non-partnership track attorney with two to four years’ patent prosecution experience encompassing client counseling, drafting of patent applications, FTOs and due diligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing timely, accurate, and quality work to successfully meet deadlines and expectations.
  • Fostering positive work relationships and upholding the firm’s values and culture.
  • Complying with all firm policies and practices
  • Corresponding (both verbally and in writing) with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties in an efficient and responsive manner.

Requirements:

  • A Juris Doctor law degree from a nationally recognized school
  • A minimum of two years’ patent prosecution experience in a large or mid-sized law firm. 
  • Degree/PhD qualification or technical background in life sciences (ideally biotechnology, molecular biology or cellular biology)
  • Admission/registration with USPTO and license to practice law in the District of Columbia
