A startup provider of cutting-edge AgTech solutions is presently looking to appoint a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join its rapidly expanding team.

The Position:

As Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our client’s customer base across the EMEA region, with key responsibilities being to:

  • Identify and target prospective clients in the agriculture industry who can benefit from our client’s soil analytics SaaS solution.
  • Focus on research organizations, enterprise growers, and other relevant clients.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the agriculture sector.
  • Understand the unique needs of each client and provide tailored solutions to address their specific challenges.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementation of our client’s products and services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

The Candidate:

Our client is looking for an individual capable of demonstrating:

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or a related/relevant field.
  • At least five years’ successful SaaS sales experience, ideally in the agriculture field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivation and strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
