Mine Manager

We are currently carrying out a confidential search to appoint a Mine Manager to lead operations at a major US mining site in the Southwest. Relocation assistance is available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily mining operations with a focus on safety, productivity, and efficiency
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across technical and supervisory functions
• Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
• Develop and manage production schedules, budgets, and operational strategies
• Collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance, and corporate teams

Ideal Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or related
• 10+ years in mine operations leadership, including mine development
• Experience with autonomous systems, remote operations, or mining technology planning
• Strong interpersonal and strategic leadership skills
• Familiarity with mining software, production systems, and continuous improvement frameworks (Six Sigma, TQM)

Preferred Experience:

• Copper or gold operations exposure
• Background in both processing and maintenance
• Experience managing diverse, multicultural teams
• Proven ability to lead operational projects and drive safety performance
