Trademark Attorney

The New York office of an AmLaw 200, Chambers ranked, full-service law firm is presently seeking to appoint a mid-level Trademark Attorney. 

Candidates must have at least 5 years’ litigation experience gained on trademark, trade dress, unfair competition, and copyright cases. 

General commercial litigation responsibilities include drafting motions and conducting and managing all aspects of discovery, including taking and defending depositions, witness preparation and interviews. 

The successful applicant will be expected to effectively manage cases and supervise junior associates and team members, while demonstrating excellent research and writing skills, top academic credentials, and strong interpersonal and communication abilities. 

Prior experience in trademark clearance, prosecution and counselling, trademark enforcement and trademark infringement matters would also be beneficial but is not prerequisite.

Candidates will, however, need to have a strong background in the tech and/or engineering sectors, either as a course of degree study or through working experience.  

New York Bar required and trial experience is preferred.
