Technical Sales Manager

A global provider of passenger information systems is looking for a highly driven Technical Sales Manager with a strong relationship management and new business development skillset.

The Position:

The appointed Technical Sales Manager will:

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle for the US product range and customers
  • Identify and manage customer requirements for existing and new products
  • Present solutions to customers and close for sales
  • Share technical information/feedback with company R&D for product development
  • Identify the best solution considering regulatory changes and market conditions
  • Ensure the availability of all the necessary documents to release a product
  • Contribute to technical and commercial proposals both for single products and full on-board bus systems
  • Provide technical support at client sites or remotely in collaboration with HQ customer service

Requirements:

  • Five years’ + experience in technical sales (specific bus and coach markets preferred)
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Strog interperonal / social abilities
  • Travelling availability
  • (Italian speaking will be considered a plus)
