A confident sales self-starter with extensive contacts in pre-clinical drug discovery informatics and R&D is currently required to grow our client’s bio tech and pharmaceutical customer base.

The Position:

Supported by Account Managers, Project Managers and Scientific Liaisons, the successful candidate will present our client’s flagship product to the largest in vivo research teams in the world. You will leverage our client’s strong market presence to develop a target account strategy, spanning US and global pharmaceutical companies as well as Contract Research Organizations. You will report to and work closely with the Head of Sales to ensure customer needs are met.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Proven knowledge and relationships in the biopharma industry
  • A minimum of five years’ B2B experience in SaaS solution sales
  • A bachelor’s degree in one of the areas of biology
  • Experience of selling high value solutions ($50,000+) to large corporate entities
  • The ability to hit the ground running with minimal instruction
  • A thoughtful and organized consultative sales process
  • Resilience in the face of challenging sales cycles
  • Strong knowledge of life sciences industry, including informatics and pre-clinical drug discovery
  • A consistent track record of being a trusted advisor in large accounts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to communicate and translate complex processes and ideas to scientists, technicians, and technical product teams
