Proven technical sales professional required to drive market share and brand recognition for a leading US supplier of automation intelligence solutions.

The Position:

The appointed Senior Sales Manager will assume responsibility for:

  • Promoting the sales of our client’s machine and motion control engineering solutions
  • Demonstrating product capabilities, offering applications advice and technical support to customers
  • Closing sales to meet and exceed pre-defined revenue ad margin targets
  • Targeting customers in the machine tools, medical equipment, defence technology and packaging equipment sectors, among others
  • Representing the company at trade shows and marketing events

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in the sales of industrial automation and control solutions
  • Technical knowledge  of motion control, CNC, mechanical automation, motors, drives, pneumatics, robotics and/or HMI
  • A recognised qualification(ideally degree) in control, mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering
  • Proven lead generation, prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding KPI, revenue and margin targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
