    This is an outstanding opportunity to handle all business development activities for our client’s automation, electric mobility, medium voltage and service transformers business across France.

    The Position:

    The appointed Senior Business Development Manager will, according to a defined strategy, fulfil the company’s objectives and the profitability of its results through:

    • Implementing operational plans for business development activity, ensuring their alignment with the strategy of the group
    • Identifying new customers and new business opportunities
    • Managing and enhancing existing customers and businesses in order to achieve previously defined objectives
    • Identifying and managing strategic partners, safeguarding the interests of the organization and the shareholder structure
    • Preparing commercial proposals, monitoring their validation and final review
    • Holding business meetings with customers and defining business priorities according to the market information collected
    • Promoting and encouraging links to institutional entities that influence and / or operate in the specific market, namely technical consultants, government entities, local and international financing entities, ambassadors
    • Ensuring the reporting of management information in the area (performance indicators) to the Business Development Director, in order to provide the necessary information for decision-making

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
    • At least five years field sales and business development experience
    • A network of contacts across the energy sector in France
    • Product knowledge encompassing transformers, automation, switchgear and electric mobility
    • Strong new business prospecting, negotiation and closing abilities
    • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
