Sales Director

Technically qualified and commercially astute regional sales leader required to define and execute a multi-channel and multi-vertical sales strategy for India.

The Position:

The Appointed Sales Director for India will assume responsibility for:

• Achieving revenue and growth targets by using corporate resources effectively and leading key consortium negotiations
• Setting up sustainable relationships with key customers in the region, driving account and territory sales
• Developing an effective sales organization by hiring, coaching, developing and retaining sales talent
• Utilizing the company’s sales tools to optimize different sales channels
• Recommending technical solutions to solve customer problems
• Proactively assuring customer satisfaction to sustain strong and profitable relationships
• Maintaining current knowledge of principal products, new technologies, key industry verticals and the competitive landscape

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in medical imaging, electronics, engineering or related
• Knowledge of X-ray image detection technology (products and applications)
• At least five years’ experience in leading sales teams, with strong sales, coaching, negotiation and account management skills
• A network of contacts across the medical imaging, dental, food inspection, security inspection, non-destructive testing and/or electronic inspection sectors
• Strategic thinking ability (Research or science background is a plus)
• Experienced of working remotely in an international organization, where most of the time is spent on outside sales calls, etc
• Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of English (and ideally Chinese), both oral and written
