    Highly-motivated, driven and focused Regional Sales Manager required to help a world leader in the instrumentation industry grow its market share across the UK and Ireland.

    The Position:

    Reporting to Executive Vice President EMEA, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for:

    • Increasing brand recognition and securing sales for our client’s range of industrial instrumentation
    • Identifying opportunities for growth within the territory by securing new customers and then driving business through channel partners
    • Developing solid working relationships with new and existing accounts, providing technical and sales support as required
    • Developing, in conjunction with the Executive Vice President, an annual sales plan outlining the strategy for obtaining annual sales and branding objectives
    • Growing sales and maintaining gross margin profitability consistent with annual budgets and objectives
    • Setting sales budgets for regional distributors and monitoring performance
    • Making joint sales calls with key channel distributors in support of their sales efforts and initiatives
    • Attending industry/distributor related trade shows, events and open houses as required
    • Ensuring that the company’s core values form the basis of all communications with customers and partners

    The Candidate:

    Ideally based in the North West of England (although there is some flexibility on location,) the appointed applicant will be capable of demonstrating:

    • A minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, ideally relevant to instrumentation
    • 5 Years’+ experience in technical sales management in a related industry and/or product field
    • Proven ability to win new business and back-sell via channel partners
    • A willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • A strong network of contacts within UK industrial OEMs, EPCs, Fabricators and End Users
