    A leading producer of aluminium window and door systems for the architectural construction sector is currently looking to appoint a proven sales leader to head up its commercial sales team which targets fabricators and contractors across the UK.

    The Position:

    The appointed National Sales Manager will assume responsibility for:

    • Managing and mentoring a team of five Accounts Managers across the UK
    • Upholding team performance standards
    • Directly managing key fabricator accounts
    • Monitoring weekly call plans and upholding reporting structures
    • Providing accurate monthly forecasts for the commercial team
    • Working closely with the Specification Sales Manager to manage specifications through to fabricators
    • Identifying market trends and product performance, reporting findings

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • External building envelope experience (eg architectural façades, aluminium windows & doors, curtain wall systems, rain screen cladding, solar shading etc)
    • Experience of managing and mentoring a commercial sales team to meet KPI, revenue and margin targets
    • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
    • A network of contacts among architects, contractors and – particularly – fabricators
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
