    Leading all marketing initiatives from lead generation, new product launch and brand, this is an exciting new opportunity to join a fast-growing company and take a lead role in shaping its evolution.

    The Position:

    The appointed Marketing Director will assume responsibility for:

    • Collaborating with the Sales Director and senior management as part of the executive decision-making team
    • Leading creative and brand storytelling, ensuring that the company maintains a consistent brand image across all platforms
    • Building robust integrated marketing programs that drive new customer acquisition while also engaging and delighting existing customers
    • Developing the product portfolio with the product development director to ensure the brand’s global growth
    • Developing a 3-year marketing plan outlining the key strategic directions: product portfolio, sales opportunities and growth pillars
    • Identifying market, customers and consumer needs/trends in order to make proactive proposals of new products/services/innovation briefs for R&D
    • Creating and developing marketing initiatives from concept to the market implementation phase in close collaboration with product development director
    • Leading and managing the marketing team (initially 2 direct reports) in the process of creation, design and launch of new initiatives
    • Collaborating closely with the Sales team to develop global and domestic go-to-market-tools and visual presentations, anticipating specific regional needs for building the 3-year plan in line with the international environment
    • Using competitive research and benchmark analysis to ensure growth and leadership

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A proven track record of developing strategic partnership marketing and sales initiatives
    • Fragrance industry or related experience (eg beauty, personal care, fashion, accessories, luxury etc)
    • Creative, strategic and analytical thinking
    • A proven track record in performance marketing and campaign development
    • A minimum bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or an applicable technical discipline
    • A minimum 7 years’ marketing leadership experience
    • Strong analytical skills and technology development skills
    • The ability to translate industry/ market and technology trends into new opportunities and solutions
    • Proven ability to develop, motivate and mentor 2-3 direct reports
    • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
    • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with a high level of detail and to translate marketing/sales initiatives into the digital arena
