    This is an exciting new opportunity within our client’s build sales division to increase market share and drive sales growth for both existing and new customers.

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the appointed Key Account Manager will assume responsibility for:

    • Operating solely within specification channels to drive the company’s proposition into regional and national customers
    • Delivering exceptional key account management at senior level
    • Maximising all accounts for sales and margin growth in line with budget and company targets
    • Presenting the company’s products and services in a professional and structured manner
    • Developing sales strategies that can be employed against competitors to win business
    • Providing periodic reports as requested on sales activities
    • Following up on leads within 24 hours of issue and following up on quotations in a timely manner, providing feedback on won or lost opportunities
    • Enthusiastically representing the company at exhibitions, trade events and client events

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected tm demonstrate:

    • A minimum of three years’ specification sales experience
    • A network of contacts within the building services and end client channels (private and social housing developers etc)
    • A good understanding of building regulations, legislation and other technical requirements
    • Experience of carrying out surveys and submitting accurate quotations to customers within target time periods
