Internal Sales Executive

    Verrus are currently partnering with a fast-growing technology company requiring an ambitious inside sales specialist with a track record of selling to large multi-site corporates, landlords and building management companies.

    The Position:

    The appointed Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for growing sales by:

    • Generating leads for the external sales team and/or closing for sales directly by email and, predominantly, telephone
    • Converting new customers into strategic partnerships over time through diligent relationship management
    • Sourcing new opportunities, researching leads, establishing rapport and closing deals with direct and channel partners
    • Researching prospective direct clients in targeted markets, pursuing leads and following through to successful strategic partnership agreements
    • Understanding target markets (industry, company, project, contacts) and which market strategies can be used to attract clients

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A minimum of two years’ proven inside sales / telemarketing experience
    • (ideally) a bachelor’s degree qualification
    • Some exposure to facilities management, hygiene, smart buildings and/or emerging property technology
    • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM software
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to relay technical information in a clear and concise manner
    • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals and meet targets
