Internal Sales Engineer

    £25,000 to £35,000 Basic (DoE) + Bonus + Benefits

    This is an excellent opportunity offering ongoing training and development with an ISO 9008:2001 registered supplier of industrial instrumentation from some of the world’s leading manufacturers

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Sales Director, the appointed Internal Sales Engineer will assume responsibility for:

    • Solution-selling our client’s range of electronic and mechanical instrumentation
    • Generating leads or responding to enquiries to proactively develop new business
    • Speaking to new and existing OEM and end user customers in the process, oil, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic industries
    • Tracking and monitoring projects for future potential business
    • Establishing contacts within relevant procurement and project management teams
    • Generating and following up on product quotations

    The Candidate:

    Although full in-house and manufacturer training will be provided, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A proven track record in the sales of technical products to end users and OEMs
    • A network of contacts in the process manufacturing, HVAC and/or marine sectors
    • A strong technical knowledge of industrial instrumentation/automation products
    • Strong competency with Microsoft Office products
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
