Having relocated to fantastic new office headquarters in 2023, we are now looking to continue our impressive expansion in 2024 and beyond with ambitious headcount growth objectives that require us to attract and engage the very best talent on the market.
About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting and brand-new position within Verrus which will see the successful candidate playing a pivotal role in driving headcount growth through effective employer branding, talent attraction and applicant selection, with principal responsibilities to include:
- Using employment websites, LinkedIn, and social media platforms to identify, engage with and attract potential new employees for recruitment consultant, research and management positions
- Taking overall ownership of the company’s employer branding – both physical and online – to create a strong and consistent identity.
- Preparing for and attending careers fairs and graduate events to convey Verrus’ employer brand and develop a sustainable pipeline of potential future hires.
- Working with senior management on content creation to drive talent attraction – Video, images, articles, banners, questionnaires, polls, flyers, thought leadership, etc.
- Assessing suitable candidates via telephone calls, video meetings and in-person interviews to evaluate suitability.
- Working with a set of existing brand guidelines and adding ideas to crystallise brand identity in relation to culture, values and organisational growth
- Working closely with senior management in developing the company’s talent pathway framework to drive retention and internal career progression of new hires and existing staff
- Celebrating employee success stories to support employer brand – Client recommendations, applicant testimonials, promotions, work anniversaries, etc
- Arranging 2nd stage interviews between applicants and Divisional Managing Directors.
- Documenting company social events, reward trips, sporting and/or charity events that the business may be involved in or supporting.
- Monitoring and reporting on social media engagement measurables and competitor activity
About You:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- A minimum bachelor’s degree qualification, ideally in a business, HR or marketing discipline
- Proven recruitment, talent acquisition, HR or marketing experience in a business-to-business (ideally recruitment, or related) environment
- Strong creative flair and a bold approach to defining and communicating what sets us apart as a business and as an employer
- First class business acumen and commercial aptitude
- Previous experience of working with LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing principles and strategies.
- Confident, engaging, charismatic and articulate interpersonal / communication skills.
- Outstanding writing, spelling, and grammatical abilities
- First class organisational and prioritising abilities to plan and manage workload.
- Personal synergy with the company’s core values of honesty, integrity, hard work, transparency, tenacity, added value and quality.
- Experience of working in a small to medium sized enterprise (thereby understanding a continuously evolving and agile business model.)
- (Ideally) some graphic design ability (Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe etc) and/or experience of video/multimedia content creation
- An eye for detail, design, and aesthetics
