    Continued and ongoing expansion has brought about an exciting opportunity for a proven international business developer to manage and increase market share across European OEM and distribution channels.

    The Position:

    The appointed European Sales Manager will assume responsibility for:

    • Meeting the sales and margin target for Europe
    • Evaluating, developing and managing distributors to maximize market coverage
    • Developing and leveraging relationships with all major OEMs, striving for corporate contracts
    • Growing the aftermarket business, especially in France
    • Representing the company at industry events and exhibitions
    • Keeping up to date on competitor activity and market trends

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A minimum of five years’ experience in the sales of scientific instrumentation
    • Experience of selling to distribution and channel partners across Europe
    • A network of procurement, design and decision making contacts in laboratory equipment OEMs
    • An understanding of gas generators and their application in chromatography and mass spectrometry
    • Fluency in English and, ideally, another European language
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills
