    A leading provider of printing products for the global packaging sector is presently looking to appoint a Regional Commercial Director to manage all aspects of regional business management, service and sales across the Europe, Africa and Middle East region.

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for:

    • Driving sustainable double-digit growth from existing and future customers
    • Leading business development strategy and account planning, with personal involvement in sales, account management and service offering for largest accounts
    • Managing regional sales, service and business management teams
    • Translating the company culture across the region, creating a collaborative atmosphere in teams
    • Building regional customer teams through resource planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, ongoing career development and performance management
    • Representing regional customer needs to the senior leadership team
    • Building a deep understanding of region-specific trends and market development
    • Cultivating lasting relationships with customers, personally supporting important deals
    • Overseeing the region’s business pipeline, revenue forecasts, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales
    • Providing exemplary customer service, ensuring prompt resolution of customer issues by coordinating teams where necessary
    • Developing a working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions and laws

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A minimum of 10 years’ relevant commercial, sales or service leadership experience
    • Experience of driving continuous improvement in a Go-To-Market organisation
    • (Ideally) knowledge and experience of printed packaging or imaging
    • A thorough knowledge of organisation management, strategic planning and change management
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to use hard data and metrics to back up recommendations and implement actions
    • Strength in problem solving and issue-resolution in a deadline-driven work environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • The ability to inspire credibility across different cultures and working environments
