Contracts Engineer

    CFA Piling
    £35,000 to £45,000 + Car + BUPA Healthcare + Pension

    Looking to hear from individuals with experience of managing CFA piling projects including  management of resources, procurement of materials, liaison with internal teams and clients, technical and operational issues, commercial management and cost control of contracts.

    The Position:

    The successful candidate will assume responsibility for:

    • Preparing, plant, labour, materials and key site documentation for the start of the contract
    • Scheduling, resourcing and managing pre-site work
    • Designing grouting solution and analysing Site Investigation data
    • Being the point of contact with clients from the start till the end of a project
    • Attending pre-start, progress and risk reduction meetings
    • Preparing the programmes and managing them
    • Commercial change management
    • Dealing with issues on site and with the client
    • Site supervision
    • Producing Quality Assurance plans and supervising Quality procedures
    • Agreeing the interim and final applications and submitting them to the client

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • Specific and clear experience of running CFA piling projects
    • A recognised qualification in a civil engineering, geotechnical, geological or construction discipline
    • Good IT literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • A full UK driving licence
    • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
    • The ability to work in a proactive and inclusive manner to meet deadlines
