Client Services Account Manager

The Client Services Account Manager will oversee print, data, mailing and fulfilment projects on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that they run smoothly and achieve their full potential.

The Position:

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for:

  • Working closely with the Business Development team to manage all post sale activities
  • Processing new jobs and projects from estimate stage and proofing cycle through to production
  • Dealing with all sales and production queries to ensure expectations and timelines are met
  • Managing the full project lifecycle and interacting with all relevant respective departments
  • Using the company’s Management Information System (MIS) to ensure all data is accurate, jobs are processed correctly, production/delivery timescales are met, and diary management is proactive
  • Ensuring the appropriate work trafficking of all projects through the production process
  • Holding client meetings either on video calls or in person
  • Attending training forums to ensure all required skills are developed and maintained

The Candidate:

Applicants for the position of Client Services Account Manager will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in a similar agency environment (ideally including print management, design, data and/or mailing solutions) 
  • Fantastic client relationship and project management skills
  • Strong ability to deal with internal and external customers
  • First class creative and production led decision-making abilities
  • An understanding of distribution and mailing efficiencies, print management, data sensitivity and fulfilment
  • A track record of delivering for clients when working to tight deadlines
  • The ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary / commercial restraints
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft applications and MIS (Tharstern would be an advantage)
