    Leading UK and international recruiters of mid-to-senior level construction, engineering and sales professionals, Verrus are presently looking to appoint an organised and diligent administrator to oversee all the operational functions of our busy Head Office in Leeds city centre.

    Reporting to the company directors, the successful applicant will provide administrative support to a team of over 30 recruitment consultants and managers, principal responsibilities including:

    • Invoicing clients and credit control
    • Database and spreadsheet management
    • Ensuring that all staff adhere to agreed administrative best practices
    • Purchasing, stock control and management of all communications technology
    • Producing activity and pipeline reports for managers and directors
    • Answering the telephone and screening calls for consultants, managers and directors
    • Front of house responsibilities (reception area, greeting clients, directing candidates to interviews)
    • Personnel responsibilities (health & safety, social events etc)

    Applicants will ideally have a minimum of two years’ administration, PA, business support or office coordination/management experience in a recruitment, sales or similarly fast-paced office environment and the ability to demonstrate:

    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages
    • Good literacy and numeracy skills
    • Experience of using and maintaining a customer database
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
    • Strong credibility and gravitas to enforce adherence to operational systems and procedures
    • A professional and articulate telephone manner

    We’re a rapidly expanding recruitment business occupying exquisite penthouse offices in one of Leeds’ flagship office buildings. Although ostensibly a full time appointment, Verrus are open to receiving applications from candidates whose circumstances dictate the need for flexibility on working hours.
