The appointed Business Development Representative will convert leads from marketing led initiatives to schedule 1:1 meetings for the sales team.

The Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Independently researching new high-quality leads to add to the CRM with the end goal of converting SQL qualified leads into contacts against an account with a relevant opportunity
  • Targeting a number of leads to be agreed monthly with the Head of Marketing and a number of leads for Targeted accounts as identified by VP Sales US
  • Managing and qualifying any MQLs created from UK marketing initiatives specifically devised for the US market, such as campaigns, webinars, events and other marketing programs
  • Researching and qualifying MQLs prior to being converted to either a contact with opportunity or a contact to nurture through regular marketing communications
  • Targeting malls and multi-site retailers and providing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on MQL/SQL lead generation, lead conversion and campaign conversion rates
  • Acting as first point of contact for delegates at conferences and events, supporting marketing as requested

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A successful business development / lead generation / client conversion background, ideally within the retail and/or hospitality sectors
  • Experience gained in SaaS, technology platforms and/or marketing analytics
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven listening, problem-identifying, pitching, negotiation and closing abilities
