The appointed Business Development Manager will be tasked with establishing a footprint in a core target market for our client. The successful candidate will be driven to succeed in a high potential and high competition sector with the longer-term objective of building a team around them as the territory grows and develops.  This is an outstanding opportunity that will enable and empower the right candidate to take full ownership of their success in a rapidly growing organisation and own a key region for the company.

Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in technical B2B new business sales
  • Experience of selling cybersecurity, AML, KYC, PKI and Electronic Signature solutions into specific market niches
  • An understanding of the technicalities and nuances that come with selling to multi-national organisations
  • A proven track record of securing new logo accounts with AOV of £100k+
  • A track record of growing multinational accounts into £multi-million accounts
  • Strong personal autonomy and self-reliance

Desirable:

  • Experience of setting up a new entity in the UK market
  • Prior leadership / man-management experience (to grow a team as the role progresses)
  • Experience of working within a European organisation
  • A network of contacts within leading UK banking/financial institutions
