    Proven field sales closer required to drive market share and brand recognition across the UK South East for a globally established lens manufacturer offering fantastic open-ended earning potential

    The Position:

    The appointed Business Development Manager will assume responsibility for:

    • Developing new business with dispensing opticians and optical laboratories
    • Promoting high customer retention rates with strong account management
    • Representing the company at trade shows and industry exhibitions
    • Working closely with business owners, optometrists and practice staff to demonstrate the features and benefits of the product range
    • Assisting Management in the formulation and implementation of a regional strategy to meet business objectives

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

    • A minimum two years’ successful field sales experience
    • Experience within optical, ophthalmic or eyecare products or related prescription products or non-prescription (OTC / consumer) products
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • A track record of meeting and exceeding KPI, sales, margin and growth targets
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills
