Proven veterinary sales specialist required to increase market share and brand recognition for our client’s patient monitoring and life support solutions across the UK.
The Opportunity:
The appointed Business Development Manager will assume responsibility for:
- Developing new partners and consolidating the UK sales network
- Working with the channel sales and marketing team to enhance relationships with existing sales distributors (through training and support)
- Maintaining close relationships with end users through consistent visits and communication, following up on highlighted needs
- Maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and speakers, updating each quarter
- Collecting and analyzing market information (competitors, customers, requirements) to maximize business opportunities
- Organizing and participating in exhibitions, seminars and promotional /marketing activities
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in veterinary medical sales or marketing (including key account management)
- A network of contacts and key opinion leaders among veterinary end users and distributors
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- A positive and proactive personality
- A willingness to travel extensively to meet customers nationwide (and occasionally outside of the UK)
