Proven veterinary sales specialist required to increase market share and brand recognition for our client’s patient monitoring and life support solutions across the UK.

The Opportunity:

The appointed Business Development Manager will assume responsibility for:

  • Developing new partners and consolidating the UK sales network
  • Working with the channel sales and marketing team to enhance relationships with existing sales distributors (through training and support)
  • Maintaining close relationships with end users through consistent visits and communication, following up on highlighted needs
  • Maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and speakers, updating each quarter
  • Collecting and analyzing market information (competitors, customers, requirements) to maximize business opportunities
  • Organizing and participating in exhibitions, seminars and promotional /marketing activities

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in veterinary medical sales or marketing (including key account management)
  • A network of contacts and key opinion leaders among veterinary end users and distributors
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • A positive and proactive personality
  • A willingness to travel extensively to meet customers nationwide (and occasionally  outside of the UK)
