Attorney

Our client is looking to appoint an attorney with at least four years’ commercial real estate experience, excellent academic credentials, and outstanding communication skills.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Managing Partners, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for:

• Providing solutions to clients’ legal issues by producing exceptional and detailed legal work
• Researching, drafting, reviewing, negotiating, closing, and advising on complex legal matters
• Interpreting and explaining the law in a way that is easy to understand and engaging for clients
• Building business for the firm through growing current client relationships, attending events, and deploying other business development strategies
• Performing other job-related duties, legal functions, and special projects as assigned by the managing partners, to optimize the ongoing business operations of the firm
• Delegating to paralegals, associates, and other support staff

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• Admission to (or ability to obtain admission to) practice in North Carolina
• A minimum of four years’ commercial real estate experience
• A Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school, with preferred emphasis in commercial real estate
• Excellent legal research, written and verbal communication skills
• First class academic credentials
• The ability to work independently, make executive decisions and solve problems creatively
• Strong detail-orientation and excellent organizational skills
• The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks successfully in an autonomous fashion
