    Proven territory sales professional required to promote the sales of waste handling machinery to larger commercial waste producers and waste recycling contractors.

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Managing Director, the appointed Area Sales Manager will be responsible for:

    • Sales and rental of waste compactors, balers and associated consumables
    • Prospect account generation and analysis
    • Targeting dormant accounts
    • Site waste audits and surveys
    • Proposal writing and presentation at Board level
    • Winning contract awards followed by service roll out
    • Sales management reporting against defined sales and KPI targets

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be required to demonstrate:

    • A minimum of three years’ successful field sales experience
    • Previous experience of either selling into the waste industry or selling B2B capital equipment
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
    • The ability to construct and present clear and compelling business cases
    • Strong negotiation skills at all levels of an organisation, especially at Board level
    • (Ideally) a recognised engineering qualification
    • Excellent level of IT literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
