    Proven White Goods NAM required to manage and develop major accounts across the UK electrical, online, catalogue, grocery and high street retail sectors

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Channel Director, the appointed National Account Manager will be responsible for:

    • Selling white goods to strategic national accounts including major electrical retailers (eg Dixons Carphone Warehouse,) catalogue retailers (eg Argos,) online retailers (eg AO, Shop Direct,) department stores and supermarkets
    • Strengthening existing account relationships to maximise revenue generation
    • Winning and developing new major accounts
    • Dealing at head office level with senior buyers and product teams, planning promotional activity and product launches to achieve agreed sales objectives

    The Candidate:

    Applicants will be required to demonstrate:

    • A track record of success in key or national account management
    • Proven sales experience in the household appliances, white goods or consumer electronics sectors
    • A strong network of contacts within electrical, high street, grocery and/or online retailers
    • An organised and strategic approach to identifying, winning and developing accounts at national level
    • Evidence of successfully increasing volume/product listings
    • Strong commercial acumen and rapport building skills
