A dynamic and innovative player in the field of obstruction detection lighting is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Developer to expand its presence across the EMEA region.

Job Description:

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business opportunities across the EMEA region, with a specific focus on:

  • Conducting thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape within the aviation, defence, and renewables sectors.
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to acquire new clients in the EMEA region.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Devising and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on the unique needs of the target industries.
  • Staying informed about the latest advancements in detection lighting technology to effectively communicate the benefits of our client’s products in the context of the wider market.
  • Working closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and client-focused approach.
  • Providing regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to the management team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years’ proven sales experience within the detection lighting industry.
  • A network of contacts across the aviation, defence, and/or renewables sectors.
  • A strong understanding of EMEA market dynamics and regulatory requirements related to obstruction lighting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong product knowledge to effectively convey technical information to clients.
